Happy Monday! We’re already three weeks into March, and with a new month comes new joys and challenges. Sometimes it’s easy to get sucked into the tornado of business and forget to appreciate the beauty right before our eyes. To remind us to practice wonder this month, I decided to share a quote from Fahrenheit 451.
“Stuff your eyes with wonder […] live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.”
Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
We can get so consumed by reaching our goals that we forget to slow down and experience gratitude for what we have. I encourage you this month to practice wonder. Think of the beauty found in the smiles of your loved ones, the splendor of the sun and stars in the sky, and the joy of a new day. There is beauty all around us, and we don’t even have to look that close to find it.
I hope you have a gorgeous week filled with wonder.
